PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Ganeshkhind is, run by KVS and is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary education. The Vidyalaya a was established in 1973 as a Defence Sector School.

From the year 1982 K.V Ganeshkhind, pune is affiliated to central Borad of Secondary education with affiliation No: 110013.

This day serves as a poignant reminder of the pivotal role this esteemed organization plays in fostering national unity, humanity, and prosperity through the power of education. Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan is committed to nurturing the holistic development of students, ensuring a uniform curriculum and educational standards across all its schools throughout India. The 69 Kendriya Vidyalayas in the Mumbai Region uphold this commitment by placing a strong emphasis on imparting life skills and fostering harmony through child-centric learning activities. At KVS, our motto is: “Hiranmayen Patren Satyasyapihitam Mukham Tat Tvam Pushannapavrunu Satyadharmay Drishtaye.” Pupils must therefore acquire the knowledge and perspective necessary to overcome the allure of falsity and embrace Satyam Shivam Sundaram through the transformative power of education. As education continually evolves, KVS remains committed to adapting to change. All Kendriya Vidyalayas are currently implementing the New Education Policy-2020, a policy for the revitalization of India in the global context. I am delighted to enlighten you on a beautiful message – “Bloom where you are planted”. At the very outset I would like to quote the words of our former President Dr. A.P.J. Kalam. – An ignited mind is the most powerful resource in any country. If the millions of young minds are ignited and work hard, it will do wonders for the country. He also said that the components of success are curiosity, thinking, knowledge and perseverance. Education is the foundation for a truly successful career and a life well lived. Much depends on the institution where you are being educated and your bonding with it. Teachers are excellent potters and they mould the individuals with the strongest materials into the finest masterpieces. A teacher’s work affects individuals, the nation and even eternity. Here at Kendriya Vidyalaya we believe in a joyful experiential learning system wherein, each child is encouraged to participate wholeheartedly! We leave no stone unturned to offer multitudes of opportunities to our children; it is for them to make the most of it. Children should be motivated to grab every opportunity that comes their way which would not only help in their holistic growth but also strengthen their belief in teamwork, which is important in this fast-paced world. They need to understand the importance of emotional balance, critical thinking, and most importantly accepting failure graciously! It is our strife to endow them with all these qualities and more. I appreciate the staff and students of all faculties who use various modes of expansion to present their ideas. As long as our ideas are expressed and thoughts kindled, we can be sure of learning as everything begins with an idea. Just as our mother earth gives us more and more, Learning is not a process limited to schools and colleges only, nor does it end with the conclusion of one's school career. It is indeed a lifelong process. The school is oriented to the total formation of a child and to adaptations of various methods suiting the dynamics of changing world in order to achieve common goals and objectives. It is further characterized by sharing vision, responsibility and above all love and faith in goal in order to achieve it.
