The mind is not a vessel to be filled but a fire to be kindled. We affirm that education begins at birth and continues through life. Our complete focus is to provide a support center to our children so they continue learning and developing towards becoming whole and healthy individuals. At the very outset I would like to quote the words of our former President Dr. A.P.J. Kalam. – An ignited mind is the most powerful resource in any country. If the millions of young minds are ignited and work hard, it will do wonders for the country. He also said that the components of success are curiosity, thinking, knowledge and perseverance.

Education is the foundation for a truly successful career and a life well lived. Much depends on the institution where you are being educated and your bonding with it. Teachers are excellent potters and they mould the individuals with the strongest materials into the finest masterpieces. A teacher’s work affects individuals, the nation and even eternity. Here at Kendriya Vidyalaya we believe in a joyful experiential learning system wherein, each child is encouraged to participate wholeheartedly! We leave no stone unturned to offer multitudes of opportunities to our children; it is for them to make the most of it. Children should be motivated to grab every opportunity that comes their way which would not only help in their holistic growth but also strengthen their belief in teamwork, which is important in this fast-paced world. They need to understand the importance of emotional balance, critical thinking, and most importantly accepting failure graciously! It is our strife to endow them with all these qualities and more.

I appreciate the staff and students of all faculties who use various modes of expansion to present their ideas. As long as our ideas are expressed and thoughts kindled, we can be sure of learning as everything begins with an idea. Just as our mother earth gives us more and more, Learning is not a process limited to schools and colleges only, nor does it end with the conclusion of one's school career. It is indeed a lifelong process. The school is oriented to the total formation of a child and to adaptations of various methods suiting the dynamics of changing world in order to achieve common goals and objectives. It is further characterized by sharing vision, responsibility and above all love and faith in goal in order to achieve it.
